Description: Registered Nurse – Electrophysiology (EP) Lab (Travel Assignment)

Facility: Wesley Medical Center – EP Lab

Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Assignment Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: 06/29/2025

Unit Overview

Beds: 1
Staff: 3 total (including traveler)
Day Shift Staffing: 2 Techs, 2 RNs
Patient Ratios: 1:1
EMR System: Mac Lab / Meditech
Equipment Used: Abbott Ablation & Mapping, Phillips Fluoroscopy

Position Overview

Wesley Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Electrophysiology (EP) Lab for a 13-week travel assignment. This role focuses on cardiac ablations and pacemaker implantations in a specialized 1-bed unit with cutting-edge electrophysiology technology.

Responsibilities

Provide expert care for patients undergoing cardiac ablation and pacemaker implantation procedures.
Operate Abbott Mapping systems and Phillips Fluoroscopy equipment.
Collaborate with EP technicians and cardiologists to ensure patient safety and procedural success.
Maintain strict adherence to EP Lab protocols and regulatory standards.

Required Certifications & Qualifications

Prior EP experience (Cardiac ablations & implantations required)
Active Kansas RN License
Preferred: Experience with Abbott Mapping systems
Strong organizational skills and ability to function in a highly specialized environment

Additional Details

Competitive travel rates ($95/hour)
No weekends or holidays required
Must commit to the full 13-week assignment
