New Year 2015

To the members and followers of GKCCASPMN,

On behalf of the Board of GKCCASPMN, we wish you a happy and prosperous 2015. GKCCASPMN has gone through several changes this past year with the biggest being our new website. We have access to several upcoming webinars and a direct link to the ASPMN website. In 2015, GKCCASPMN will see the biggest change in the ability to register and accept payment through our website. We have partnered with AFFINIPAY in response to yours and our vendor requests for credit/debit card payments. The Board as we plan for 2015 is considering offering two large conferences instead of several one hour CNE activities throughout the year. Any feedback on this thought is appreciated and can be entered here in the Comments section.

One of our goals for 2015 is to apply for Chapter of the Year with ASPMN and more info will come. If any of you are actively public speaking on pain management topics or volunteer your time and services for special agencies, please let us know.

Our CNE approver program continues to grow strong. We have been approved for another year by the Kansas State Board of Nursing as an approver and provider of CNE.

Our newsletter, published by Laura Textor, is one of the best we have seen, with new information regarding pain care and light hearted comments ontoday's social issues.

With all that is new in 2015, our mission remains the same to provide quality education and networking for those nurses involved in providing quality patient care to those experiencing pain, acute or chronic.
